Mr. Anderson Herbert is the CEO and Managing Director of APS Security LLC, which he founded in 2011. He is a native of the US Virgin Islands, a former professional athlete, and a graduate of Delaware State. Mr. Herbert has a bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant Management and Business Administration and a doctorate in Business Administration and General Management. He is the recipient of the 2024 President's Lifetime Achievement Award.

He has also completed multiple training courses such as counter surveillance, intelligence, tactical driving, Active Shooter, Hostage Negotiations, School Safety and Fire Protection and Safety, Dignitary/Diplomatic protection, as well as Plain clothes training. He has worked and lead teams at many private security events such as fashion shows, movie premieres, concerts and red carpet events among many others. Mr. Anderson has also been a bodyguard for many high profile celebrities, A Listers, athletes, executives, foreign dignitaries, and heads of state.
In addition, he works hands on with each client to maintain and ensure these relationships remain strong and responsive throughout the APS Security team. The cohesive atmosphere within the company is due in part to his development of security policies company wide.
His assignments have afforded him the opportunity to travel to 88 countries and became fluent in 4 languages. Learning different cultures and customs has been a gift personally and professionally, as respect of cultural differences is paramount to public relations and ultimately security. During his travels he received training and insight of the security world from a global perspective. Mr. Herbert maintains a consistent high level of professionalism and integrity as shown throughout his career.
